Exec Assistant to Shachi

If you’re an aspiring content creator and want to learn how a well-oiled content engine churns out revenue, this role is for you. You’ll be working with Shachi on a daily basis to create rapid growth in all aspects of the business. It’s a practical hands-on experience to learn both the frontend and the backend tasks.

Job Brief 

Anything and everything Shachi does. Examples – 

  1. Content – idea, strategy, scripting, publishing and engagement with the audience
  2. Business – converting potentials to clients, negotiating brand/ sponsored contracts
  3. Delivery – collecting client info, collating data for internal usage, collecting client feedback
  4. Analytics – student profile analysis to identify weak areas, business analysis
  5. Planning – setting up travel and content plans such as New York mixer event with Shachi

Your KRA (key result areas) will keep changing every quarter as the business needs.

This may be the toughest job of your career but you’ll grow the fastest and enjoy every bit of it. Our job is to ensure that you get well-rounded exposure to all aspects of the business. You’ll be part of the core team and specialise in one or more of the above roles as the team grows.

Skills and qualifications

Degree or background does not matter much. 

Must have – You would be tested and challenged on the following skills –

  1. Communication – written and oral, both internal with team and external with clients and brand managers
  2. Social media – you should have a basic understanding of the top social media platforms and a willingness to learn about the new trends
  3. Excel – for planning and data analytics
  4. English – you would be replying to some emails and DMs as Shachi
  5. Organisation – OCD is good

Preferred qualifications – 

  1. Content experience – running your own or working on a social channel on Youtube or Twitter or FB groups.
  2. Business experience – working ground up on any business
  3. Adaptation experience – You would start as EA to the founder and this role will change over time. Hence, you should highlight any experience in adapting to a new role quickly.    

Salary – will depend on your experience/ expertise. Range from INR 3 Lakh-6 Lakh pa for EA (junior role) and INR 5 Lakh -15 L pa EA (senior role)

Social media endboss

Do you thrive on the dopamine hits that social media notifications such as “thumbs up” throws at you? Want to have a hands-on experience with this where you create these wow experiences on social media? Come join our team as a social media endboss. 

 

Whether you’re an aspiring content creator or want to learn how to make a business using the power of content and social media, this role is for you. You’ll be working with Shachi on a daily basis on the cutting edge of marketing. Working as the social media endboss with us is a tough but highly rewarding role. 

Job brief & responsibilities

On a daily basis your job would entail – 

  1. Content uploading with appropriate tags on all active social channels by using tools like Buffer
  2. Engaging with the community 
    1. By providing pointed answers to comments, messages, etc.
    2. By provoking and promoting discussions in the threads
  3. Develop and manage content schedule and ensuring all stakeholders such as writer and editors are on track
  4. Test and analyse impact of various factors such as thumbnail and title on click through rates
  5. Keep track of social media trends and come up with interesting ideas to ride on the trend wave.

 

In addition to above, you would be required to engage with existing clients to collect reviews, create collaborations, negotiate deliverables and pricing with brands and so on.

Qualifications

Full time – We are a very small remote team working on flexible timelines but hard deadlines. Ownership of tasks is a must have quality for you. Expected experience ~3-5 years as a social media expert, preferably with a content creator or social marketing company. Competitive salary based on your expertise. 

 

Intern – If you are a student and want to work part-time, this can also be a good opportunity for you as you’ll be working directly under the social media endboss. You’ll be paid a stipend depending on your time commitment.

USA Student Advisor

If you have experience in advising students on where and what to study – this role is for you. You’ll be dealing with students who want to study in the USA. So, if you are a career counsellor or aspire to study in the USA or already student in the USA – this job is best suited for you.

Job Brief 

You have to help students crack the visa interview by creating a bridge between their current  expertise and their course/university of their choice. 

  1. Understand student profile – by asking pointed questions to the student
  2. Understand about university – through online research
  3. Work with the student to create a unique answer for their interview

Skills and qualifications

  1. Min qualification – 
    1. Graduate and above (USA university preferred)
    2. 2+ years experience (experience as international career counsellor preferred)
  2. Communication – you will be working directly with students – so written and oral English is a must have skill
  3. Innovative research skills

Key Result Areas

  1. Ability to understand student mindset
  2. Uniqueness in answer their question i.e making answers customised to the student profile
  3. Ability to summarise results and create a knowledge bank for internal use

Salary – INR 4 Lakh – 9 Lakh p.a. depending on  your expertise.
