No major DS-160 changes in India — here is what is still in place
As of today, the system that has been in place for the last two years in India is still continuing. Nothing dramatic has shifted. If you have already booked a visa appointment, you need to bring the confirmation page of the DS-160 form you used when you made that booking. That original confirmation page is mandatory — do not misplace it.
What happens if you fill a new DS-160 form after booking?
If you have updated your DS-160 after booking your appointment, you simply need to carry both — the old confirmation page and the new confirmation page. You then get the new form updated at biometrics. I have had clients do exactly this today, and the process went through without any issue. The update has not stopped, regardless of what you may have read or heard.

Book a Mock InterviewThe rumour that DS-160 updates have stopped is false
There is a rumour circulating that DS-160 form updates have been halted. This is completely untrue. Clients of mine went for biometrics today and got their DS-160 forms updated without any problem. The only firm requirement is that you have your old confirmation page with you. Do not let the noise online make you panic or delay your appointment unnecessarily.
How I am tracking any future changes
US visa rules can shift, and I am monitoring developments closely. Anything that changes — whether it relates to the DS-160 form or the visa interview process itself — I will update you on as soon as it is official. Stay tuned to this site for accurate information rather than social media speculation.
