MOCK INTERVIEW

Practice with someone who knows what the officer will ask.

A 45-minute mock interview that simulates the real thing. I ask the questions the officer will ask — based on YOUR profile, not a generic list — and give you direct feedback on your answers.

Recording included.

Sound familiar?

Practicing alone doesn't prepare you

🪞

You've rehearsed in front of a mirror

But the mirror doesn't push back. It doesn't ask follow-up questions when your answer is vague. It doesn't simulate the pressure of a real interview.

📝

You've memorized answers from the internet

Memorized answers sound memorized. Officers know the difference between a rehearsed script and a genuine, confident response. They probe harder when something sounds rehearsed.

😰

You don't know how you come across

Confidence, clarity, eye contact, document handling — these matter as much as your answers. You can't evaluate your own body language.

You don't know what they'll actually ask YOU

Generic question lists have 100 questions. The officer will ask 5-8. Which ones? That depends on your DS-160, your profile, and your documents.

My methodology

How it works

  1. 1

    Book your slot

Pick a time for your 45-minute mock interview session.

  2. 2

    Share your profile

Send your DS-160, documents, and background before the session. I prepare questions based on YOUR case, not a template.

  3. 3

    We do the interview

I play the officer. I ask real questions, interrupt when an officer would, and push back when your answers are weak. It's uncomfortable — that's the point.

  4. 4

    Detailed feedback

After the mock, we debrief. What worked, what didn't, what to change. You get written notes with specific improvements for each answer.

Fit check

Is this for you?

This is for you if…

  • You want to practice with someone who does this professionally
  • Your interview is within the next 2 weeks and you haven't done a mock yet
  • You've been refused before and want to practice before your second attempt
  • You want honest, critical feedback — not reassurance

Not for you if…

  • You want a consultation to discuss strategy (see One-on-One Consultation)
  • You need document review, not interview practice (see DS-160 Review)
  • You're looking for generic practice questions (those are free online)

Not sure if this applies to your situation? We’ve coached every kind of profile you can think of — edge cases, prior refusals, unusual situations. Just ask.
