A note from Shachi

Getting rejected is devastating. I know, I've sat with students who called me in tears after their interview.
Here's what I've learned from coaching 400+ rejected students: the rejection almost never means your case was hopeless. It means the officer didn't hear what they needed in those 90 seconds. Wrong emphasis on funding, a vague career plan, or an answer that accidentally triggered an immigration-intent red flag. And now you have to face that window again, this time with a rejection on your record.
I built my STAMP Method around the five things every officer evaluates: your Story, your Ties, your Answers, your Money, and your Papers. For rejected students, the method starts with a rejection autopsy, reverse-engineering what went wrong, then rebuilding each pillar so the next officer hears a completely different story.
If you've been rejected and you're serious about getting this right the next time, let's talk.

Sound familiar?
"I don't know what went wrong"
The officer just said 214(b) and moved on. No explanation. No feedback. Just a blue slip.
"My parents are losing confidence"
They spent money, time, and hope. Now they're wondering if this is even worth trying again.
"Should I just apply again with the same answers?"
Doing the same thing and expecting different results. Officers see your history, they'll expect something different.
"My DS-160 is already filed"
Your previous DS-160 is on record. Any inconsistency between old and new answers raises flags.
Common pitfalls
Officers see your history. Same story = same result. Something must demonstrably change.
The consulate doesn't matter, the strength of your case does.
Bringing 50 documents signals panic, not preparation. Officers want clarity, not volume.
If the officer asks "why were you rejected?", "I don't know" is the worst possible answer.
My approach
Why should they believe you this time? Your previous story didn't work. We rebuild your narrative from the rejection, addressing exactly what the officer was concerned about.
Prove you're coming back, again. After a rejection, officers are more skeptical about ties. We strengthen your evidence with concrete plans, not the same vague promises.
"Why were you rejected?" in 15 seconds. This is the first question you'll face. We structure a confident, honest answer that shows what's changed, practiced in mock interviews until it's second nature.
Has your funding situation changed? If it has, we present the improvement. If it hasn't, we reframe the same funding with better clarity so the officer understands it this time.

Now you have to explain not just your plans, but why you were rejected and what's changed.
"I'm terrified of freezing again"
The trauma of rejection makes the next interview harder. Confidence is gone.
Time alone doesn't fix anything. A rebuilt case with a new narrative does.
Your new DS-160 must be consistent with your new narrative while not contradicting your previous filing. We review every field, cross-checking against your prior application.

Rejection autopsy
We go through your previous interview in detail, questions asked, your answers, the officer's reactions, and the rejection slip. I identify exactly what went wrong.
New narrative construction
I rebuild your story from the rejection. What's changed? New documents? Better funding clarity? Stronger career plan? We find the angle that addresses the officer's concern.
DS-160 realignment
Your new DS-160 must be consistent with your new narrative while not contradicting your previous filing. I review every field.
Rejection-focused mock interviews
Simulations focused on post-rejection questions: "Why were you rejected?", "What's different this time?", "Why should I approve you now?"
Confidence rebuild
By interview day, you know exactly what to say, how to address the rejection, and how to project confidence, not desperation.

Common questions
There's no mandatory waiting period — you can technically reapply the next day. But reapplying without changing anything is paying to be rejected again. I typically recommend 1–2 weeks of prep to rebuild your case before booking a new slot. The key is demonstrating that something has changed since your last attempt.
Switching consulates rarely helps on its own. Officers at every consulate follow the same guidelines. What matters is the strength of your case, not the location. That said, if your original consulate has an unusually high refusal rate for your visa type, we can discuss whether a switch makes strategic sense as part of your overall preparation.
Officers rarely give specific reasons — they just stamp 214(b) and say "you didn't demonstrate strong ties." But I can usually reconstruct what went wrong from: the questions they asked, the order they asked them, how long the interview lasted, and your answers. In our first session, we do a rejection autopsy — we reverse-engineer the officer's concerns and build your new case around closing those gaps.
Yes — but each rejection raises the bar. Officers can see your visa history, so they'll expect you to explain what's different this time. I've worked with students who were approved on their 3rd, 4th, even 5th attempt. The common thread: they stopped repeating the same approach and rebuilt their case from scratch. That's exactly what we do together.
No one can guarantee approval. The final decision rests with the consular officer. What we guarantee: you walk into your interview fully prepared, with clear answers, strong documentation, and real confidence. We've coached 2,500+ applicants one-on-one, and we are always transparent that no one can promise a specific outcome.
You'll experience a realistic simulation of a U.S. visa interview. I play the role of the consular officer using real questions specific to your visa type and profile. After the mock, you receive the recording so you can review your performance and refine your answers before the real thing.
We accept UPI, bank transfer, Razorpay (for INR payments), and Stripe (for USD payments). All prices are listed in both USD and INR. Payment is collected after an initial consultation to ensure the service is right for you.
