A note from Shachi

You know exactly what you do and why it matters. Explaining it to an officer in 30 seconds is a different skill entirely.
The L-1B is one of the harder visa categories to defend at the consulate because specialised knowledge sounds vague even when it is not. Officers are trained to probe until either the knowledge becomes concrete and company-specific, or it does not — and a generic answer is a refusal. I have coached engineers, analysts, and technical leads who genuinely had specialised knowledge but could not articulate it without using jargon the officer could not evaluate.
I built my STAMP Method around the five things every officer evaluates: your Story, your Ties, your Answers, your Money, and your Papers. For L-1B holders, the key is making abstract expertise concrete and verifiable.
If you want to walk in with an answer that makes the officer say I get it rather than explain further, let's talk.

Sound familiar?
I know what I do, I just cannot explain it simply
What is obvious to you after years with the company is invisible to an officer who has never seen your system. The gap between knowing and explaining is where L-1B cases fall apart.
My work is technical — the officer will not understand anyway
Officers do not need to understand your technology. They need to understand why only you, at your company, with your specific background, have this knowledge. That is a different explanation.
Anyone with my skills could do this job
General industry skills are not specialised knowledge. If a qualified hire from outside the company could be trained in a few months, the officer will not approve. The knowledge has to be company-specific.
Common pitfalls
I develop software using Python and React is a market skill, not specialised knowledge. The answer must name what specifically you know about your company's systems, processes, or proprietary products.
Officers ask this directly. If you cannot explain why a qualified external hire would take years to develop this knowledge, the specialised claim does not hold.
Parent, subsidiary, affiliate — if you say you just work for the India office without explaining the legal relationship, it raises immediate questions about whether this is a legitimate intracompany transfer.
My approach
What do you know and why are you the one being transferred? We build a plain-English narrative around your specific expertise, the company system or process you understand, and why that knowledge needs to be in the U.S. office now.
What brings you back when the assignment ends? For specialised knowledge workers who may be in high demand, officers check immigrant intent carefully. We identify your strongest ties so the officer sees you will return.
Can you explain your specialised knowledge in 30 seconds? We take your expertise and translate it into language the officer can follow — not jargon, not a lecture, just a clear answer practised until it feels natural.

Ideally 4-6 weeks before your interview. That gives enough time for document review, answer building, and multiple mock interviews. If you're late, don't worry. Our Core package works as a 3-day crash course.
No one can guarantee approval. The final decision rests with the consular officer. What we guarantee: you walk into your interview fully prepared, with clear answers, strong documentation, and real confidence. We've coached 2,500+ applicants one-on-one, and we are always transparent that no one can promise a specific outcome.
You'll experience a realistic simulation of a U.S. visa interview. I play the role of the consular officer using real questions specific to your visa type and profile. After the mock, you receive the recording so you can review your performance and refine your answers before the real thing.
Almost certainly. Over the years, I've worked with applicants across every visa category and situation — prior refusals, complex employment histories, complicated finances, applications from high-scrutiny consulates, dependent visas, and more. If you're unsure whether your situation is something I can help with, just message us on WhatsApp. I'm happy to discuss before you commit to anything.
All sessions are online via Google Meet or Zoom, so you can prepare from anywhere in India or the world. We also record each mock interview for your own self-review, which you can't get in-person at the embassy.
We accept UPI, bank transfer, Razorpay (for INR payments), and Stripe (for USD payments). All prices are listed in both USD and INR. Payment is collected after an initial consultation to ensure the service is right for you.
I cannot explain the company relationship
How the Indian entity relates to the U.S. entity — parent, subsidiary, affiliate — must be explained simply and consistently with your petition documents.
My role or project changed since the petition was filed
If the project you were hired to support no longer exists, or your scope shifted, officers will probe the inconsistency between the petition and what you say now.
If your answer requires the officer to understand your domain, they will default to scepticism. The best answers explain specialised knowledge in terms any educated adult can follow.
Your project, your role, your team — if your answers do not match the petition, the officer has no reason to trust either source.
Does the salary match the level of expertise claimed? Officers check whether the compensation is consistent with specialised knowledge and whether the U.S. office can sustain this position. We make sure the numbers tell a coherent story.
Offer letter, project documents, company relationship docs, organisational evidence — they must all tell the same story as your verbal answers. We review everything for inconsistencies that trigger 221(g) processing.
